Hi there, I'm hoping someone can help me out. I've obtained some plumbing fittings off the net and there are in inches. When I copy and paste the block into a new drawing it doesn't paste in at millimeters. I have to scale the blocks to suit. Is there a way/command to paste the block into the correct size without scaling it up? Hope I explained this correctly.I'm using AutoCAD LT 2010.Kind RegardsDavid

What were you expecting when you downloaded blocks created with Imperial units for use in a drawing using Metric units?  Why didn't you find and download metric fittings to begin with?  Think of all the time/hassle you would have saved yourself.

You want to create a block with attributes?

Have you consulted your Help files or your User's Guide yet?  While it isn't all that difficult to do there are some things you need to do before you start so you won't have to go back later on and redo the block.

Blocks with attributes can be edited in a couple of different ways.  First though, concentrate on creating the attributed block.  After you have done that you can practice editing one.

i explode the attribute block into indivdual blocks and them created a block for my titleblock...sorted!
