I have been using AutoCAD 2009 on my new Windows 10 PC for over a month now and everything has worked fine.Last week AutoCAD started crashing when I switch from model space to paper space.I get this error message.fatal error: unhandled e06d7363h exception at 3f4b7788hCan anyone help? I tried to search on line and on this forum to see if I could find any similar circumstances and none came up.

Well, I found a fix.Instructions to fix:1. Left click on AutoCAD 2009 icon.2. click on Troubleshoot Compatibility.3. Follow the Wizard.4. Tested the program.I don't understand a lot about Operating Systems, but basically it seems that Windows recognized that AutoCAD 2009 was compatible with Vista, so it set up to open the software with Vista compatible settings.I can't repeat the steps to get the exact text from the Wizard because now it says No changes or updates are necessary.

You are bound to be plagued by problems from time to time since you are running a version of AutoCAD that is so old it is no longer supported under multiple versions of Windows.  As Windows 10 updates and security patches are installed you could experience further problems from time to time.  At some point or another it may even render your version of AutoCAD inoperable.
