Hay,I am new on this forum.I am using Draftsight and I like to create a line in a specific angle but I don't know how to do that.thanks fo helping me. heinmor

Are you familiar with a technique called "direct distance entry"? It's but one method available to you. Let's say you want to draw a line 150 units long at an angle of 32 degrees. This is what you would enter at the command line after invoking the LINE command:@150<32Try it.

Another option for you. Invoke the SNAPANG command and type in a new angle for your crosshairs. Try it and see what happens. Use an angle of 45.One more...try using Polar guides. In the Settings option the user can add to the default angles that AutoCAD would use. Can't give you much more detail about the feature as I don't make use of it.BTW...you're not going to find many DraftSight users at this forum. I think I'm the only one who shows up on a regular basis here. You might have better luck getting answers to your questions in the future at the DraftSight forum. Just a suggestion.
