I know how to use the the Dimension Style dialog box and how to set up a new dimension style.
What I simply cannot figure out is how to get a diminsion style set up like the one I got from another company's drawings.
It looks like this:
Dimension Style Name
Angular
Diameter
Leader
Linear
Ordinate
Radial
The great thing about this kind of dimension style is you don't have to go to the dimensioning toolbar to pick which type of dimension you want.
You can set each of the dimension types (Angular, Diameter, Leader, etc.) up in advance and then set this dim style as your permanent one and it will always dimension each type the way you originally set it up. No more dimension tool bar required.
