Just loaded LT2017 upgraded from 2007 so way behind with all the new gizmo's and widgetsI want a white drawing background in model space but I could only find an alternative for black or light- which just seems to be dark grey insteadAnyone help please?ThanksDolau

Pay close attention to what you are reading.  I'm guessing you were looking at the heading for Window Elements > Color Scheme where the only two choices are Dark or Light.You must go through OPTIONS > Display > Colors.  At the next window, under "Context" highlight 2D modelspace and make sure "Interface element" is set for uniform background.  Then look to the right under the heading "Color".  THAT'S where you make your selection.  Don't forget to click on "Apply" at the bottom of the window before closing it.This is one feature that hasn't changed in a long time.

Type OPTIONS in the command line

You don't necessarily have to type anything.See that big red "A" in the upper left hand corner of your screen?  Click on it.  In the drop down menu you'll see the word OPTIONS.BTW...the command line didn't stop working just because you upgraded from 2007 to 2017.  Typing the word OPTIONS, as suggested above would still work.  Same thing holds true for just about any command you can think of.

You can also find the OPTIONS command on the Tools drop down menu.  Should be at the very bottom of the list of commands.
