Hello Guys I have a problem with ACAD> DWF hyperlinks. If I have a hyperlink in Auto Cad (2012, had also tried 2015) and then create the layout  with the hyperlink in a DWF, I can just normaly follow the Link but when I move the files (maybe send to the customer ) the DWF cant find the PDF File which was linked in the hyperlink, although it still is in the same folder just  on a different workstation.Does anyone have experience with DWF and hyperlinks? and does anyone know why the DWF opens the linked PDF file in Design Review and not in Adobe Reader ?.Any help I would really appreciate.

It sounds like your problem is with Adobe not AutoCAD.  Maybe you should be asking your question in an Adobe forum?

Thx for the fast answere, but i dont see why the problem should be with Adobe , the Hyperlink on the DWF cant find the PDF File or Excel File it does not matter which File it is , he cant find it even if it is in the same folder. I dont understand this , because if Autodesk makes a Function to convert relative Hyperlinks from ACAD to DWF but he cant find the File if you send the DWF (+ the linked File) to someone else, then why is there an option like this??????

Hmmmm.....dwg with hyperlink (to a pdf) --> dwf and dwf can't find pdf via hyperlink.  I'd have to test that.

What is the setting for the system variable HYPERLINKBASE?

Hi Man, im sorry i was on Vacation.I tried some things with Hyperlinkbase, but i dont really know what it does, when i type it into acad he tells me i have no path select -> "", thats the standard setting. But i also tried some path but it made no difference. But why should Autodesk implement a feature called "convert DWG hyperlinks into DWF" , if you cant send the DWF to the Customer because the Hyperlinks dont work then anymore. :(

Attach a copy of the DWF and the PDF the hyperlink points to in your next post.  I'll test it on my system.

If you link the file with the option "Relative path" (see the [CMD]HYPERLINK[/CMD] command) and the linked file remains on the same relative path when you send it with the resulting DWF, the hotlink should work. Design Review can also handle PDF files so it is probably a preferred viewer. Does it open also for PDF files double-clicked in Windows Explorer?

In his second post above the OP refers to a relative hyperlink.  Maybe he meant to say a hyperlink with a relative path.

uploads/548727/Hyperlink_Test.zip   ( i did this Test with 2015 mechanical ACAD)So Guys, i just uploaded the DWF + the PDF, i also added a Screenshot with the Settings of the Hyperlink.I also tried some Things, and we ( i dont know why) had a Laptop with Design Review 2012 and it worked with it. We installed the 2013 then on the Laptop and then i get the Message.:"File not found. Please verify the correct file name was given."But the File is next to the DWF and worked with 2012 design Review. Thats really mysterious. :(Maybe you Guys can shed some Light on it.EDIT: when it worked with 2012 Design Review it opened the File in the Internet Explorer but with Design Review Options , maybe its an intern function of it. But on 2013 the Hyperlink does not work at all.

The PDF link from the DWF goes to "Test.dwf.\Test.pdf" - most probably not right. HYPERLINKBASE is probably not set.
