Hello all, I am new to the forums but will be chiming in very frequently, since I got a new job doing AutoCAD work. I have a question for anyone who knows about Exporting block attributes from dwg files into a spreadsheet on excel. I have tried many programs, but none seem to work at all! Basically my boss is having me take all of the orders received and organize them into a spreadsheet for easy viewing, but there are tons, and I was looking for a more efficient approach. If anyone could give me some insight, I would be very appreciative, Thanks!

Thanks! I found what looks to be a legitimate program, but when I go to install it, I get an error reading AutoCAD not found on x64, so it kills itself. I did find another one yesterday though that worked somewhat well, except it made crazy amounts of duplicates on certain ones and skipped over half of the others! Kind of worthless if you ask me, haha. If you do find anything though, feel free to give me guidance!

Very nice! Thank you so much for your help! I only have one last question: is it possible to get this function to perform in a batch? I have about 2,000 files to go through.

Nevermind! I browsed his website and found one for subdirectories of files. Thank you very much for the reference, I won't get arthritis by next week now!
