My guess is that you have some binary characters added (virus, editing by Word...) to your ACETMAIN.MNL or ACAD2010DOC.LSP or AI_UTILS.LSP or ACAD2010.LSP or ACAD.LSP. You the backup copies or perfor a repair installation.

have you looked for the files mentioned by Vladimir-acad.lspacaddoc.lspacad.mnletc.. (I forget the rest, this forum doesn't show older posts while replying...)Open with a text editor to see if there is a bad character?A reinstall doesn't necessarily replace all these files so that may not fix that problem.

Yes I already check all lsp and mnl files in user data cache folder and also in support file in my documents and settings, I see no bad characters in all the files.

So what is the problem besides that error message?  Does anything not function properly? (sorry if you mentioned that in another thread I lost track of that one..)**EDIT**OK I found old threda see it is causing some menu problems...When you load that outside drawing that seems to cause it, did you get a message about an embedded macro (VBA)?CarlB2010-01-27 08:52:12

Lot of problem come in my work station, specialy in my mouse clicks, also in option menus like solid fill, yes I am pretty sure that outside drawing cause the problem because when that drawing was open in other work station same error happen in my work station. No message about embedded macro. I have checked this drawing and no macros on it.

Not sure what all mnl & acad.lsp files you found to check or where you checked (user data cache?)Did you find the files mentioned by Vladimir:ACETMAIN.MNL or ACAD2010DOC.LSP or AI_UTILS.LSP or ACAD2010.LSP or ACAD.LSP. Some may be under AutoCAD/Support folder, and a few other places..Something to help find them is with lisp "findfile" function.  Type on the command line, including parentheses, for example:(findfile "acad.lsp")

I checked it from userdatacache and in support folder, Yes I found acetmain.mnl, AI_UTILS.LSP but I cant find the acad2010doc.lsp and acad2010.lsp because am using autocad 2009, and with regards to acad.lsp i can find this file in everywhere in my drawing files (folders or subfolders) this acad.lsp is automaticaly created together when i save a drawing file in a folder or any place in my computer. I know this is not normal, and i believe that this is also a part of the error. Also there is no acad.lsp file in autodest support folder and in the userdata chache folder.

Sir,I am using autocad for more than 14 years, and for the first time I encountered this kind of error, and I am very sure that formating is not the solution to get out of this problem because as I experimented both work station Arabic and English is infected this kind of error due to the specific file opened by double clicking the file. Also this error also occurs to another newly buy PC.Joseph
