Hi,Does anybody know why my blocks appear fine in my model space, layout view & print preview but when I plot to PDF one block moves from the spot it was in to another place on the page? Sometimes this will happen & I keep plotting to PDF until it corrects itself, but then other blocks will move instead of the initial one. If anybody could help it would be much appreciated as it is a massive time waster and quite annoying.Thank you

I've never had blocks move when printing to a PDF and can't think of any reason why they should.

Are you using the DWG to PDF.pc3 driver when you plot, or something else?Dave.

I kind of suspected as much.  Change the driver in your plot setup to DWG To PDF.pc3 and stay with that.  CutePDF, and even the Adobe PDF driver aren't fully up to the AutoCAD task. But - truth be told - I don't even plot to PDF this way.  I don't like the quality I get.  So I take the extra time to *always* plot to a DWF first, and *then* plot to a PDF from there.  The PDF driver within Design Review always does a flawless job for me.  Lineweights and colors come out perfectly, as to fonts.  And (not so much anymore) the file sizes tend to be the most efficient.  That's really why I started doing it this way initially.  Nowadays I do it to get the best PDF quality.Dave.

Let us know how it goes and if there's a difference.  If not, there might be something else going on.
