If you are after a simple architectural handwriting style then archs.shx may be what you are looking for (unless of course you are after a .ttf specifically).  You can find it here at this website:http://www.i-joist.org/content.asp?page=details(or Google archs.shx, there will be plenty of places).And I believe it can be distributed freely.  Hope this helps.
