Hi guysme and me friend are setting up our own business producing building plans etc we also want to branch off into producing 3D visualizations of shop fit outs & refurbishments, at the moment the funds for AutoCAD revitt arch are not there could anyone advise me on a decent 3d CAD package that we could purchase which looks professional and affordable? Thanx

"Professional and affordable" are terms relative to each individual user. What I may think is affordable, you may not. I suggest hitting the search engines. Best to google "3D CAD Programs", or even just "3D CAD". There are tons of good programs out there you can try.Good Luck!!!

there is not just one that is most super,it depends on your skills and creativity.if u can use autocad 3d to render,use it,if ur better with revit,use it.if good at 3d max use it.to me they all have but justa lil diference.just that when u fink ur done with one u jst might have something to add to your work from another program.

You can try ZwCAD Professional for the CAD side of things and SketchUp Pro for the visualization side.  Purchasing both should be less than $1,000 (U.S.).  After you have done a few jobs and the money starts to roll in you can upgrade one or both.  I think you'd like 3ds Max.
