Why are hatching a wall (architctural) with a hatch pattern more associated with metal? What kind of wall is it? Concrete? Brick?

The ANSI31 pattern draws its lines at a "native" angle of 45 degrees, so if you want them horizontal, use the pattern at a rotation of 135 or 315 degrees. But better yet, don't use ANSI31! Use the User-defined option. Then you can just tell it directly not only what direction you want the lines to run, but also how far apart -- no need to figure out a scale to apply to an ANSI31 Hatch to get the line spacing you want.

Thanks for responding, I already took care , concrete walls and I use 135 degrees, and the lines were horizontal in the vertical wall
