previously i could [select item] and [ctrl+c] or [move] my items but suddenly i have to give the command first before i can select my items. It is becoming very inconvenient for me as i am already used to the previous method. this really disrupts my thinking. please help!

Type PICKFIRST at the command line and change the setting to 1.
