I need advice from proffesional drafters and designers familiar with Mac OS.

I am thinking of purchasing of a MacPro b/c as a photograher I use most programs in the Adobe suit quit extensively.  Mac seems to be the best when it comes to design and graphic presentation.

However I am aslo a beginning student in CADD design, and use Inventor, AutoCAD Arch, Solidworks frequently.  I know the latest MAC OS  supports Windows based programs through BootCamp, ..even allowing simultaneous operation of both Windows and OSX Leopord.

Are there any problems I should be aware of with this set up?
Do professionals drafters use Macs?
What are disadvantages of using BootCamp for AuotCAD?
Can 64 bit applications be run on Apples?

Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.  I am just a student but I plan to make drafting  my career.  What gear do I need to own to be successful, whether MAC or PC?

Thanks Again

Thanks for your reply.
Yah I have also heard that certain versions of Vista & XP wont work for the 64- bit application of AutoCAD, such as the Home Versions.
But I was also concerned about storage capabilities through Apple's BootCamp.  My thinking that the Mac hardrive might limit what amount and space it's hardrive will dedicate towards BootCamp programs.
However I've done a lot of research and it seems like many pros successfully use Macs for AutoCAD @ a business level.  I've also read that soon AutoDesk will begin to release programs compatible with Mac & Linnuex as well.

FREE AT LAST!! FREE AT LAST!! THANK GOD WERE FREE AT LAST!

I'll post how the set up works out.  Thanx again.
