Hi, this is my first post so be kind to me :)My problem: I attached a picture so in case I explain bad my problem you can see the picture. On the picture you can see a wall and a roof. Now a used command extrude to pull up the wall. I would like the wall to follow the line of the roof. One corner is OK but as you can se the wall is going over the roof. Everytime a use the extrude command the upper wallside is allways parallel to th bottom. Now is the roof is design like on this picture how can I tell the autocad to extrude the wall only to the roof and not beyond. God, i hope I explained good my problem. Thanks in advance for your help. Best regards, Miro

I can't seem to "see" your picture (miropicture.jpg).Can't you use the SLICE command to solve your problem?

Hello,Thanks again for answering mail question. OK, I will try the SLICE command, but I was wondering there got to be another way. For example if I draw an oblique line (representing the roof) and the when I use the extrude command to “pull” up the wall so that the wall meet the roof line. This way I would not need first to extrude the wall beyond the roof and then use slice command to cut of the parts of the walls that I don´t need. Thanks once again for helping me. Best regards

Yes there is.  Draw the wall profile in the vertical to match the roof line and then extrude it.  You do not have to do all your extrusions from a 2D plan view.
