Type "Changespace" or I think "chspace" is shortcut for it. Follow the commands and it should transfer model to layout.

If you have express toolbar  > Layout Tools is the change space command

You can just right click your current draing layout tab and choose 'from Templet'.
From the pulldown menu of 'Files of type', choose your drawing format dwg/dxf and select one.

A small pop-up will ask you which layout to insert and you choose one.

I have come to find out that most people when they install AutoCAD they get scared of the "CUSTOM INSTALL" segment of the install. The bad thing is that unless you go through the "CUSTOM" part of an installation you want even know that you could have the "EXPRESS TOOLS".

In short, you have express tools they just did not get installed.

Insert the installation disk and when it starts up select "Install Tools and Utilities". There should be a place for you to check to install "Express Tools"

"CHANGESPACE" is just one of many great tools "EXPRESS TOOLS" has to offer.

Hope this helps!
