Has anyone been able to add hyperlinks to 3D objects in AutoCAD & Navisworks and then share that Model with someone else? I am currently having trouble with someone else remotely opening my links (in a published Navisworks Model) The links are still looking for the original drive "path". What am I doing wrong? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It sounds like you defined "hard" paths in your hyperlinks. Yes/No?

John,
Below is a typical path we would use to link a PDF submittal to an object in AutoCAD. To anwer your question, yes we are hard pathing it. The problem occurs when the other user tries to open it on their computer using the Published Navisworks model and their drive is different. We have tried putting the link in AutoCAD first and bringing it into Navisworks and placing the link directly in Navisworks. Neither method will work for us. Any suggesions or work arounds? Thanks.

I use relative paths for my hyperlinks. Seems to work without a problem.

I've never tried this with an external PDF, but if you ePublish the file, will it include the external PDF? You might experiment with that to see if everything works when unzipped.

ePublish should be eTransmit.
