I just downloaded some free cad linetype( .lin) files. How do I get them in my drawing?

By using the commands "linetype" "load", browse to file, select linetypes to load.
 
You may wan to put this other ".lin" file in same folder as your acad.lin file, but doesn't have to be. And to avoid browsing, you could copy & paste the linetype definition into your "acad.lin" file.CarlB2010-02-12 02:11:04
