I have an issue regarding inserting blocks. For some reason when I insert a block on a DWG (snapping the block on a point) the block does not place itself on the snapped point. For example. when I snap an inserted block, the block does not snap on the point, however it's placed somewhere else, which causes me to zoom out trying to locate it. I believe that the root my problem is located in the Block properties. When adjusting my block properties, I choose a custom base point which is usually on the bottom left corner of the object. Ideally, when choosing this base point, I want to the be same point overlapping my insertion point. Unfortunately, that is not the case. In addition, maybe the UCS has something to do with it. I am thinking that I have to create my block on the 0,0 coordinate. The reason why I believe this is because the the distance from the object and the snapping point looks close the distance from UCS and object being blocked. Please someone help. Thank You. :)

How sure are you that the block you are trying to insert really does have its insertion point at the bottom left-hand corner and not at 0,0 as it sounds like it might?  Have you checked? You are using Osnaps not snapping to a grid right?

John Connor,I am pretty sure, due countless tries of trying to correct this problem. I chose the base-point(Usually on the bottom left of the block), however based on my analysis it seems maybe I might have to move the blocks base point to the 0,0 coordinate. What do you think? And I am using Osnaps. Thank You.

I don't think that will be necessary. Can you post one of the misbehaving blocks (as a dwg file)?  Maybe someone here can take a look at it.Do you work in metric or imperial units?
