what is the procedure for plotting in black when there are multiple layers in colors ? When I try to plot from a layout all I can get is either a plot in color or in grayscale . What is the proper procedure for the plot style manager? ...I would also like to retain any of the linetype and lineweight settings that were utilized when drawing an object in model space. Thanks for any info

I would recommend using the monochrome.ctb (or stb) plot style.

Set your Plot Style Table to monochrome if you want ALL BLACK, or set it to Grayscale if you want BLACK with some shaded layers.Good Luck!!

There is no need to buy third-party software in order to plot in black using AutoCAD. Waste of money in my opinion.
