Hello qawimr, you can find here in the site AutoCAD 3D files for cranes in the CAD/BIM Blocks library.Launch a search with the word crane.I have uploaded 3 files in 3D showing cranes :LIEBHERR_LTM1090-2_3D.dwg ( capacity 90 t )LIEBHERR_LTM1300-6.1.dwg ( capacity 300 t )GROVE_GMK6220-l.dwg (capacity 220 t )Do you need an exact model or these cranes are OK for you ?I will take a look if I have others. What is your knowledge about lifting and cranes ?CAD Forum was the solution to find "free" cranes cad files on the internet !!!!Some cranes builders like LIEBHERR or TADANO give their AutoCAD files for free on request but it is in 2D.

Hello again qawimr, as you are working as a lifting equipment inspector you will have to have a huge knowledge about lifting accessories like slings, shackles, lifting beams, chains + laws and calculation of all this. You can have informations about how to read a crane chart on BIGGE CRANES on the internet.A big subject is how to rotate a load with one or two cranes without having the load becoming motor and tilting the crane(s).Another good subject is how to caculate slings ( fun if quantity 4 and not 3 ) on a special load.Tell us more about your searches and studies.
