Looking for a bit of help.....I have 2 drawings (attached in dropbox link below). For some strange reason the overall line weight in drawing PBL0033-001 seems extremely bold and 'clumpy' compared to the detail in drawing VBN-V047-1159-ARC-DRG-280013 (even though they have the same set-up and are using the same template and title block etc).https://www.dropbox.com/sh/r3kiid8r0csn3oz/AADEvK-IXdNreqejcP7Mt8IIa?dl=0The strange thing is, this problem has only just started on this particular version of drawings. The same drawings were plotted last week and were absolutely fine. I have also just plotted some test drawings for VBN-V047-1159-ARC-DRG-280013 and these are also absolutely fine, which makes me believe that it can't be a driver issue. There are 17 drawings that have been effected by this problem, and It's really got me baffled! If anyone can shed any light, It would be very much appreciated. Thanks

I downloaded and plotted both of your drawings and there appears to be no problem.Re: VBN drawing.  Have you looked at it using the 3DOrbit command or maybe a SE Isometric view?  Your geometry seems to be on two different planes both of which possess a negative "Z".Re: PBL drawing.  I would suggest you run the following commands on the drawing in the order listed.Overkill (you have 222 duplicate objects and 362 overlapping objects in your drawing)-Purge > Regapps (8 unreferenced Regapps)-Purge > All (1 zero length geometric object)Audit (1 database error)Save the drawing and repeat the above sequence one more time. You might want to run the same procedure on the VBN drawing as well.I see you have DGN linetypes in your drawings which means that at one time either these drawings were created or edited in Microstation or someone brought content over from MS into AutoCAD.

There is a feature that turns colours into lineweight. It sounds like this could have something to do with it?It was used in the old days when colour plotting was rare. It happened to me back in the old days of AutoCAD 98, but since that's 17 years ago now,  don't remember more than this.

You can still do that even today simply by editing your plot style where it says Lineweight.  However, don't you think if the OP used two different plot styles he would have mentioned it?

Thanks for the replies. Since posting this, the issue appears to have sorted itself out?! Very strange, but very welcome.Plot styles were the same, and yes John, you're correct, the architectural detail was originally created in Micro station and imported into Autocad. So, in conclusion, the problem seems to be resolved (for now). Thanks for the help and advice people  ;-)
