I’m trying to link two block attributes from two different blocks. I’ve explored the use of fields, and found that they’re buggy at best (at least when I follow the directions I’ve seen). We’ve got a block that represents a piece of equipment, say a DVD player, and another block that represents the cable that plugs into the DVD player. It has a unique cable number and connector attributes as part of the connector block. I’d like to see certain attributes of the DVD player to associate themselves with the connector block.The complicated part of this resides in a custom LISP routine that we created to auto copy and number the connector blocks.Anyone have suggestions on where to go with this?
