I'm not sure what you are asking. You want a lisp routine that will change the layer you are in?

I think I have it now.You are looking for a lisp routine that will somehow tell you which blocks in a drawing were either...1. Not created on layer "0"...or...2. Do not reside on layer "0".Is either of these correct?

A lisp routine that tells you which blocks do not reside on layer "0".  I don't have a lisp routine like that.  I'd have to do a search.

Layer 0 is always the current layer when you start a new drawing, however, it is bad

Alice: Why is that bad?  It is possible to start a new drawing and NOT have layer "0" as the current layer simply by editing the DWT file (add a new layer and make it current) and saving it.
