I am looking for a new drawing software.
Right now I am using QuickCAD, which is ok, but I think it's a bit limited in features. I generally just use it as a sketching tool, to convey my ideas to the guys who design my projects. However, I would like to get something a little newer and a little better, so that maybe I could send them dwg files and be able to make better details, rather than a new page for every piece of my drawing.
I'm looking for something that is budget priced, under $100 for sure, that's how I came to the decision on the two I am looking at--cost and features.
I'm looking to upgrade to something newer, specifically TurboCAD 15 or maybe DesignCAD. Are either of those programs worth owning to create high qulity professional drawings?
I looked at DoubleCAD, but it seemed a little more complex than what I was looking at, but may try to learn to use it. The interface was quite different than what I am used to.
Let me know if you have any other ideas.
