I don't know if anyone on this forum has encounter this problem yet. Our company purchase a copy of AutoCAD 2002 back in 2002. Well we had it installed on my computer but my hard drive crash and we were going to re-install it on my new computer but found that the CD is missing. We still have the original folder, serial# and CDkey on it but missing the CD. I've contacted Autodesk and they say that they only maintain software up to 3yrs. prior to the last year and they keep on sending me to the reseller. Well, I was able to locate the reseller and they say that they maintain anything that old and they are telling me to call Autodesk. I feel like i'm in a pinball machine with no end result. We paid $3k for this software back then and I would assume they have some sort of systems in place to help customers that encounter these types of situations. Does anyone out there have any ideas or suggestions they can give me in order to retrieve the old CD.

These types of requests show up on the forum boards from time to time and about the only thing you can do is put a request out there for a good Samaritan to find.  You'll almost certainly need someone to burn you a new copy and mail it to you.I'd suggest you join the Autodesk Discussion Groups and post a request for help in the  2000-2002 Archive forum here:http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/AutoCAD-2000-2000i-2002-Archive/bd-p/28Good luck!  Dave
