I have a 3D block library I've had and been using for years to do my work. They are major medical equipment blocks that I paid to have created in ADT for me. Is there a way I can translate these 3D blocks from AutoCAD ADT drawings to my new projects that are in Revit? Or is there a major medical Revit block library that resides somewhere with Autodesk?

Just curious...ADT blocks have what file type extension?

Have you tried the CAD Block Exchange Network or TurboSquid? You might also try the websites of the manufacturers themselves but I'm kind of doubtful they'll provide anything with a great amount of detail.

Thank you so much for responding!

And, actually, you'd be surprised at the details some manufacturers will share....
For instance, check out:

http://www.nanawall.com/Design2/3dModels.aspx?id=bimRevit

and:

http://www.hermanmiller.com/Design-Resources/3D-Models-CAD-Drawings/Revit-Families/Products-Categories

just to show a couple. With research there are scads available.....unfortunately NOT everything and certainly not whatever block you happen to need RIGHT NOW!

However, that being said, the part of the original question that I REALLY wanted to see answered was if there is a way to translate 3D blocks from AutoCAD ADT drawings to Revit.......perhaps a service somewhere?  Just curious after spending hours upon hours upon hours in the past, creating custom 3D blocks for Architectural Desktop, just to have Revit come along and make them all obsolete.....seems a shame.

I have a medical background and even I don't know where to find some good quality medical equipment blocks suitable for AutoCAD.
