I was wondering if it's possible to make a DOUBLED hatch pattern using existing patterns like ANSI+AR CONC (overlapping them both) in AutoCAD Hatch creator (without using additional plug-ins, lisps or superhatch)? I don't want them to act as two hatches, just as ONE. AND if it's possible to use it with Match Properties.

Thank you.ti_and_me2011-11-14 14:11:47

What is AutoCAD Hatch Creator?I doubt it is possible but why don't you try it and let us know how it turns out.  You already have access to both pattern files so shouldn't be just a matter of somehow combining the two?

By AC Hatch creator I meant AC's default hatch creator under HATCH command.

Well, I tried to combine two hatches (simply overlapping them) but the problem is that they are acting like two separate hatches (so it's double work to do). I need them to act as ONE hatch when united. The real problem was that I couldn't find the hatch I need so I thought to make one of my own. Super hatch doesn't meet my expectations because Match properties does not work with it. It's a real shame that in Hatch creator, under User defined is possible only to double linear hatch with 90 degree lines.

Guess I'll find a plug-in or a lisp then.

Thank you for your time and reply.

I thought you might try combining the two hatch pattern "files" (you know...edit acad.pat) not put one hatch over the other.
