I'm running AutoCAD 2007 and I am making a housplan. The problem is that the lines are too big on the screen, I can't fit 20 feet in on the screen.  The units are set to architectural.  How do I make the lines smaller so that I can fit the whole plan on the screen.

Maybe you should change limits of your drawing.
Have you used Zoom/all command?Arben.Allaraj2009-05-28 08:24:07

you can use the zoom extents icon or you can use Command line> Z return A Return this will zoom you out to show all you have in the drawing. Or if it still keeps you from seeing your whole drawing try doing a Regenall.

Draw a line of maximum dimesnsion you desire. Then use command Zoom- All  or Zoom-Extent. After that you should be able to work fine.
OR

As suggested earlier change the limit of drawing and then use command Zoom - All.
