I want to be able to match leader styles (and all the leader properties) by using the match command.  It works for dimensions and text, why not for leaders??

It will work if the leaders are all the same object type (all Leaders, all MLeaders, etc).  But if they're not you're trying to make apples into oranges.Select two leaders you're trying to match and look at Properties.  If you see different object types you won't be able to match them.Dave.

Both are multileaders, and I even copied the multileader to another spot and tried to match it to the properties of the parent leader.  I changed the text size of the parent leader but could not use match command to change text on the child (the one created by copying) multileader. Please advise.

You may need to post a small sample drawing with some leaders like this that don't work for you.  I can't reproduce your problem.  If I create a multileader on one layer and another on a different layer, then select the first and match properties to the second, I have both leaders looking like the first on the first layer.  If I change the text size in the first and then use match properties to a second different mleader I end up with two leaders with text size like the first.Did you define mleader styles however and are you using them?  What is the reason for using match properties here?Dave.

I will try that. How would i post a file (drawing) to this topic?  Thanks for all your patience by the way.

Click the little File Upload button above and follow the instructions.  Keep the DWG file as simple as you can with just the problem you have.  Add any text or other descriptions you think will help explain what you're doing and what's happening.  We should be able to figure out what's going on from there.

Dave.

Apparently I have not been given the ability by the forum to upload a file.  Thanks for doing the best you could. I will have to look into getting permission to upload files.  Take care and you might hear from me at a later date.
