Hello.I have lately experienced a very annoying problem with the mouse-button pan:Sometimes the mouse gets stuck in the pan-mode, and I have to press esc-key to get free.Sometimes pressing the wheel displays the right-click button menu instead of the pan-mode.Sometimes after releasing the wheel, it displays the right-click button menu or the left-button selection frames insead of just releasing the pan mode. The wheel-zoom works fine as usual. I have done nothing: No hardware of software Changes, it just hapened one day.  Any ideas?

The day that this "just happened" was the day you ate lunch at your desk wasn't it?Did you unplug your mouse then plug it back in?Did you shut down AutoCAD then restart it?Are you experiencing mouse related problems in other programs?Did you shut down your computer, wait 20-30 seconds, restart it, load AutoCAD and test it?What else did you do to troubleshoot the problem?

Robert wants to know if you tried another mouse.  How long have you been using this problematic mouse? What other problems are you experiencing with AutoCAD?Do you have the latest mouse drivers installed?

Problem solved!I changed mouse with a collegue, and now it works fine. He's on the economy-side and does'nt need any nifty CAD mouse-features to run his programs. The mice looks just the same so I hope he doesn'nt notice the change, since I sort of forgot to ask him...

In the future when you have a problem with a mouse the smart thing to do is to swap it for another one.  It is also the easiest thing to do.  Glad to hear you solved your problem even though it meant stealing your coworker's mouse.  Thanks for updating us.

Funny how the simplest things somehow elude us.
