Hello spartacus666, if you want to do some 3D solids you will have to learn a lot of 3D commands. To elaborate a 3D solid you have to draw a closed shape, ideally an assembly of 2D entities like lines, arcs, ellipses converted into a REGION and then EXTRUDE it to the desired height. In your case I would draw a circle of radius 1.75" ( 3.5" DIA ), convert it into a REGION ( not an obligation ) and EXTRUDE it to 1".P.S. In the old versions of AutoCAD the official documentation was a big 500 pages book, then it came as a PDF file stored in your (C) disk, now what is left is the help that you get with pressing F1 on your keyboard. The problem with this is that when your press F1 you're out of AutoCAD.Eventually search the last PDF files available approx. AutoCAD 2008.Ask for more.

Hello Spartacus666, eventually see my 3D AutoCAD file : 3D_SOLIDS_01.dwg in the CAD/BIM Blocs library here in the site ( the updated one of 13.02.203 ).It shows the main 3D commands.Ask for more.
