Hello,Been awhile since my last post, as I've been blackballed from Inventor and forced to draw 2D EL schematics for the rest of my foreseeable career AND, to top it all off, the IT guy says I'm getting a new PC with windows 7 STUPID floating window BS grumble grumble....So all this begs the question of how to RELIABLY save ALL my settings, toolbars, colors, cuix ect to import back onto my newer system, with little to zero downtime; I'm knee-deep in accelerated project BS...So far I've tired:Options,Profiles,Add to list, (created profile name)thenExport, saved to shared network drive so I can import it back onto my new PC.Is that all there is to it? Or am I ill informed?John conner help a brotha out!! Good to see your still up on things around here!

Wow man look at all those posts!! You a moderator yet? C'mon Vlad, John deserves it!An a paper? Wow, its like that? Oh jeez....it seems "upgrades" just turn out to be a whole 'nother set of problems. but thanks man...I'll need whatever help/advice your willing to provide. And then, with your new moderator powers, make it a sticky or something so noobs and Alzheimer's patients like myself can have quick access to it....that'd be great. So again, thank you. I will be checking back here throughout the day...

So you want me to go over to the dark side (as a mod)?  LoLThe paper was written by Deni Cox and Jennifer Stockton and it was titled "How the #!@% Do I Migrate My AutoCAD Customization?  The course number was AC427-1.  Not sure though if it is still on the AutoDesk University website.  All I have at the moment is a paper copy.  I'll have to look and see if I saved the zip file it came in.

Don't bother.  When I did it came blank.  The page was taken down.I don't have the zip file on my work computer.  I'll check my home CAD computer this evening.
