HelloI have a question regarding the existence of some free/open source CAD modules (eg. a dxf, dwg, dwf reader/writer). Does anyone know of such a software and if it's any good. Mainly, we are using at the company Solid Age, but this is a non-layer bassed CAD software, and we have some problems reading the dxf files that our clients send us, and we dont want to pay 5000 euro for a AutoCAD license, that would be to much. So, if anyone knows of any such software being in existence and of any good, I would be very gratefull. Btw ... check out www.progecad.com, they have some sort of CAD module very similar to AutoCAD, and the license is very cheap.Good luck!

If you are using SolidEdge try to export DXF as Lower Translating (Ex.version 6) ect.
Download free DWGTRUE VIEW open them  and again save as dxf R2000 Arben.Allaraj2008-09-19 15:04:19
