Display full version of the post: opening a .sid file in AutoCAD?

if anyone knows how to open a .sid image file in autocad 2005 i would greatly appreciate the help....

By upgrading to AutoCAD Map or Raster Design, by converting the SID image to another (directly supported) raster format.
