Good morning! I am reacquainting myself with CAD and new to Civil 3D. Can someone please share with me the command to allow me to PAN with my mouse - left button. ThanksCarol 

You PAN by pressing and holding the mouse wheel.

That is usually the case but I found the MBUTTONPAN  is what I needed. Thanks again
