This YouTube video is going viral: Warning: Not Safe for Work Language Obviously, slicing a pizza into 8 slices instead of 12 "because I can't eat 12 slices" in the wrong answer. 100% is 100% no matter how you slice it. My first reaction was that I would want the pizza cut into 12 slices because it provides better granularity over how much to consume. But does it? If you look at percentage by slice, you have: So depending on how much of the pizza you want to consume, you have: So I thought I would opt for cutting the pizza into 12 slices since eating 4 pieces would be only 33% instead of 50%. On the other hand, if I was still hungry because 33% was not enough to fill me up, had I opted for cutting into 8 slices, I could have eaten 3 slices and consumed 37.50% of the whole. With a pizza cut into 12 slices, my extra slice would cause me to consume 41.67%. I guess it's all in how you slice it. Slicing is alive in the lab. Go to the original post...
