Received new drawing from client. When going to plot, my gray scale plot style does not show up in my plot style table. It only shows standard plot styles. I go to the manage plot styles and it shows up in the right place. How do I get the gray scale plot style to show up as plotting style??? It also is the same in 2008.. stumped..

Check Options > Files to make sure AutoCAD can find a path to your plot style.  You could also simply rebuild it from where ever you are.  Start with something and SAVE AS within the plot style dialog.

Did you receive the dwg as part of an eTransmit zip package where the client's styles (if any) were included?

Hello, did your client included his XXXXXX.ctb with the files, then you would get the message "XXXXXX.ctb missing" in the plot styles ? ( It's better to plot with your client's plot style ).
If nothing works, you can :
Open your DWT or DWG prototype with your settings ( check the text style with the command STYLE not to be in troubles with the text length  )
Insert your client's drawing at 0,0,0 in the model space and explode it ONE time only, copy/paste the paper space + set active the ports ( or use the AutoCAD Design center ).
Then you will be abble to set YOUR CTB.
It's heavy and waist a lot of time, but it works.
Any other method that works with my old 2008 release, I'm interrested !!!

yes I did and I deleted those assuming that was the culprit. Once I did I reopened the drawing assuming it would follow the original path to the plot configuration. It did not.. so I reinstalled these files..
