I'm looking for free (hopefully) print accounting software. I have seen it being used at other companies but I'm unable to find what I'm looking for. i want to send plots to the plotter and have the program pop up I put in the job number and it keeps track of the plots for that job. seems easy enough to me but I'm unable to find anything that works. any ideas?

If you want a quality product, and one that you can trust, dig out your wallet and buy one.  Do you work for free or do you get paid? Two options available to you....http://thecadgeek.com/blog/2007/05/09/track-plotting-from-autocad-for-free/

And I don't understand people like you who want everything for free AND they want it handed to them on a silver platter.I gave you two options that were free.  You don't want to use them then don't.Put away your righteous indignation too.  Here is what I think it all boils down to.You came here to ask a question which it turns out you answered yourself.  So my guess is you were here primarily to get some free exposure (advertizing) for a program you have a vested interest in but you didn't want to make it seem blatant so you posed as a user with a problem and posted your question here only to come back in your very next post claiming you suddenly found the answer all on your own.  Sounds like bull$#!+ to me.
