We have recently installed an HP DesignJet T1120 44” Printer to replace our HP DesignJet 1050C Printer. The problem is, although the printer is functionally correctly  when I am in AutoCAD and go to plot a drawing the time it takes from inserting the command to the dialogue box being available can take between one and two minutes (hourglass going round). Then if I have to make changes within the dialogue box (e.g. paper size) there is a similar delay. Once I actually press the send button within the dialogue box everything works fine. The time between inserting the plot command in AutoCAD and the dialogue box coming up should be instant (as it was prior to installing the new printer). Any ideas please to rectify the problem?

AutoCAD is probably trying to resolve non-exististing network paths with .PC3 files or plot styles.
