Hello Everybody,i have a one dimentional line on corel draw i need to work on autocad.there is the option to save the file as a dxf or dwg file, but it converts to a jpeg(also gif, pgn, bmp). I suppose this means autocad recognizes it as a picture. How can i convert my line so i can work on it as if it were drawn on auto cad?Coming from a small business owner in desperate need, thank you and good day all

If you have the option to do a "save as" in Corel to a dwg or dxf file format those would be my first two choices and in that order.  I don't understand how the program can override a choice like that and instead save it as a jpg.  Are you sure you are doing it correctly?
Yes, a jpg can be brought into AutoCAD using the IMAGEATTACH command.  You must know the length of the line right?  Assuming that you do you can use the SCALE command with the Reference option to rescale the line to its proper length and then trace over it.
