Hello,        This is most likely something basic but I am very new to autoCAD. I created a 3D fireplace mask and I think it looks perfect in model space when viewed as realistic. However when I switch to the layout tab so I can save it to .pdf the color changes to dark black and looses much of its charactor. How can I control this? Any help would be greatly appreciated since I am learning autoCAD all on my own. Thank you in advance.

What is your layout background color?

Hi John! It is white. I have no idea how to change it. Is that the whole problem or part of it? Thank you so much

Thank you John you led me in the right direction. For anyone looking for the answer it is under :options/display/color/sheetlayout/(then whatever color you want)HOWEVER when I send it from DWF to PDF under plotter options so I can save it digitally it goes back the the white paper background. Does anyone know how to get around this?
