I have heard the Revit 2009 should be available as a native 64-bit application. Does anybody know more about this?

Yes, there are plans for a 64-bit version of Revit 2009. Of course there will be also the standard 32-bit version.

I have asked this question myself before and have been told that there will not be a specific 64Bit version of 2009. Instead the 32Bit version will happilly run on 64Bit machines. This does mean however that you wont gat any processing advantage but you will be able to utilise lot more lovelly Ram

Revit 2008 : Very good for design 3D. It is better more than ADT.
But Render is not better than 3DSmax.
I do not Revit 2009 will better for render and Revit 2009 can export their file to 3DSMax ?

Revit 2009 uses (will use) the same rendering engine as 3ds Max or AutoCAD - Mental Ray. So the results are much better in Revit version 2009.
You can easily export Revit 2009 data to 3ds Max 2009 - there are two ways - FBX or DWG (both transfer complete scenes).

Revit is a commercial software (but its EDU version is free for students). Revit 2009 was not yet released - wait a week.

we are running Revit 32 bit in our office on both 32 and 63 bit OS. It does run faster on the 64 bit machine.
