Does anyone remember this? This is your brain. This is your brain on drugs? Any questions? Today I got an email from Jos Stam. Jos is a member of the Autodesk Research team, and his research spans several areas of computer graphics: natural phenomena, physics-based simulation, rendering and surface modeling, especially subdivision surfaces. Jos shared the following article: Science Magazine: Your brain is like a wad of paper Jos is the brains behind the Nucleus simulation engine that allows designers to experiment with "form-finding" in the conceptual design phase. Many of you know it from its inclusion in Autodesk Maya. After reading the Science Magazine article, Jos made a short video using the Nucleus solver he invented. This is your brain. This is your brain as a wad of paper. Any questions? Thanks Jos. Brains are alive in the lab. Go to the original post...
