Is there a way in AutoCAD lte 2013 to select only part of a drawing and save it as a dxf or dwg?I am a new user so the more information the better. Thanks, Jerry

Sure - see the [CMD]WBLOCK[/CMD] command

Another option would be to open the original drawing and a new drawing.  Copy what you need from the original drawing then paste it in the new drawing and save it.
