How can I calculate the profile type (LPN, UPN, HEB)?Is there any software for pipe support calculation?I know the CYPECAD but would like to know some more.

Do yourself a favour and get an older Grinnell pipe support manual(not the parts cataloge). It runs you thru all the steps to support hot or cold pipes including all the calculations and tables. You don't need a pipe support program, or an Engineer or a computer, a calculater would help but it's not needed if you have paper and a pencil.
