Display full version of the post: Split model space, window mimics other, axis slide

Hi everybody.I would like to divide the Model space to two or more mini
windows (Multiple drawlings, Model space viewports or any other way) THEN:
 1. “synchronize” them. If in one of the synchronized
window I make any view changes, as pan or zoom then the other window follows
and makes the same view changes.
2. Restrict a window to move just in one direction, so again, if I make any zoom
or pan changes then this window would move… let’s say, alongside X axis an
ignores the movement changes in the direction of Y axis.
Is there any version/edition of AutoCAD or add on/plug-in/feature or any way
which allows me to accomplish any of these functions? Thanks

Sad. Thanks anyway for your reply. BTW I found a devblog with an experiment considering the 1th problem. I tried it but i can't make it work though. Here is the post.http://adndevblog.typepad.com/autocad/2014/07/synchronizing-model-space-viewports.html

That code was written for a single drawing with two model space viewports.  You specifically stated you wanted to synchronize viewports across two different drawings.  We're talking apples and oranges.  They might both be fruits but when squeezed the result won't be two juices that taste the same.
