Im using a particular font in autocad that I then transfer over to bobwire (a cnc program) to vectorize the text to cut it in styrofoam. This would be so much easier if I could just vectorize (turn it from full bodied text to lines and curves such as in a drawing) the text in autocad. Is there a way to do this? I dont have express tools nor can i get. No internet connection at my job. Please help!

You don't need an internet connection to get the express tools. They are on your Autocad installation disk. And there is an express tool, TXTEXP, that will do exactly what you are asking. It will explode text and break it up into line segments.

Another option would be to just trace the text with lines and arcs.

Wait a minute. How did you post this question if you don't have an internet connection?
