Every time the slide below was presented at the Forge developer's conference, the smartphones came out. I think this was the most photographed slide at the conference.
As you may recall, Forge is actually 3 things:
Forge DevCon was held at Fort Mason in San Francisco. I attended because I would like to see parts of Autodesk and other Forge-based developers leverage Autodesk Labs early in their development processes. This will allow them to get feedback on their potential web-based solutions early in their development processes rather than waiting until their ideas are sufficiently developed to reach the beta stage.
By all measures, the conference was a big success.
6 Tracks: Design and Manufacturing, AEC, Forge Basics, AR/VR, IoT, Business Development
15+ exhibitors and various Forge expert tables for technical training and support
24 classes with packed classes throughout the day
By the way, the complete class content will be made available in the next few weeks.
Here is my social media recap:
I was quoting Amar (below), but my either my phone messed up or Twitter would not let me type any more characters.
I had enough characters to give Chris Anderson his proper attribution:
The same was true for Thiago da Costa:
ForgeDevCon was also a great place to network. For example, I got to meet Brett Young, CEO of Building System Planning.
