uploads/324645/Too_many_lines_after_sweeping.pdfHi,I just experienced this (see attached pdf) after making a 3D pipe elbow. There are too many lines (circles) after sweeping. this is seen when iam in 2D wireframe and in Xray. But the excess lines (circles) are not seen in realistic visual style. How do i fix my 2D wireframe and Xray visual style?

While in 2Dwireframe visual style are you able to select any of those lines and erase them?I thought you meant the three that exist below your elbow.  But you might be talking about the isolines?

Hello Spettro4, if you want to see more or less lines set your variable ISOLINES ( 4 by deffault, set it to 0 and you will see no lies other than 2 circles, set it to more up to 2047 to see more lines.
This is for the "object space"; if you want to print anything else than 2Dwireframe then you will have to "open a viewport" in the "paper space" and set it properly so that it will be : realistic, conceptual, shaded, etc... with the options in the command MVIEW.
Play also with DISPSILH ( display silhouette ).
Ask for more and tell us if this helped or not.

John,Thank you for the reply.I couldn't erase the excess lines (apparently they are isolines) during 2d wireframe (or x ray). I got a tip from Philippe Joseph, so i set the isolines to 0 and the dispsilh to 1. This made the excess lines disappear.Regard.
